Most businesses hire employees to fit their immediate and near-future needs. Most employees pursue jobs and accept offers for those same reasons. But, while the employer/employee relationship is legally defined as a transactional relationship, employee engagement, loyalty, and effectiveness as well as company revenue growth and profitability are driven by intrinsic relationship needs.

Just because this is essentially touchy feely stuff, doesn’t mean intrinsic relationships are hard to build, grow, and maintain. Petros Frangos is a high-performing professional with substantial management experience, 24 years of which were within the staffing and human resources field. A process hacker by nature, he continuously works to improve the effectiveness and relevancy of the companies he works with, especially in the face of rapidly evolving adversity.

As President of HR On-Call, Petros is responsible for providing strategy and business insights to the organization and HR On-Call’s clients as well as managing HR On-Call’s human resource consulting operations. Petros received an MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurship from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations along with a Minor in Organizational Studies (the study of how organization’s function) from UC Davis. Additionally, Petros is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) issued by the HR Certification Institute.

Because of his varied educational background, Petros has a diverse work history; from being an Eastern European Group Rights Specialist for the Terrorism Studies Program at George Washington University to managing the human resources functions of multiple companies. That diverse work experience and education has been critical in providing clients unique and effective solutions to issues they face.

When not working, Petros is an avid reader of behavioral science books, a fan of trail running, a dad (when allowed to be) to a 20 year old, and a lover of live music. Petros runs the Orange County Greek Club, staying close to his roots and visits Greece often where most of his family lives.
