There is a difference between being radically honest with yourself and facing your reality.
Your reality is based on your perception, your beliefs and your past experiences. Being radically honest has a different energy. Today’s show we are going to explore why facing your reality in your business and life may not be a solution for you.

Let me explain.

When I was facing bankruptcy, my reality felt like everything around me was closing in. That I didn’t know what to do, I couldn’t figure things out, and I was in deep ‘fight, flight AND freeze”. My procrastination habit was at its highest. That was what I thought my reality was. My reality told me that I was going to ‘lose’ everything.

I changed my life when I became radically honest with myself.

– I was experiencing the sum of my choices.
– Nothing was going to go away until I made some different choices.
– I was waiting for my husband to help me with new decisions and to face some of the decisions that we made together, and he wasn’t capable. It didn’t make him a bad person, but he wasn’t able to help, and if I wanted a different outcome, I had to do this on my own.
-That my previous decisions were based on my beliefs and my skillset and if I wanted a different outcome, then I would need to look at things differently, develop some skills, and ask for assistance from some professionals.
-That I could be a victim or be victourous.
– Ineeded to take the first step NOW, even if I was scared or didn’t know the exact thing to do.
