Jean Wright wants women to know they have the potential to excel in the world of sales. Her career spans four decades of selling experience, working for personnel agencies, sports entertainment, business office services, member organizations and print and digital media companies. She has been recognized for excellence in customer service and sales as well as being promoted to sales management-level positions.

Jean’s aha moment came as president of a women’s business organization where she met entrepreneurs experiencing confidence problems. The desire to help women raise their confidence levels in sales motivated her to write Selling Your Confidence: Forging a Successful Sales Career from Mint Cookies to Martinis. Her sales career journey takes the reader on a path strewn with personal and professional confidence-building challenges starting with selling Girl Scout Cookies through adulthood.

Jean speaks to businesses and women’s groups about sales confidence. She lives in Frederick Maryland with her husband, Tom.
