It takes courage to stand up against a wrong. Would you “say something or do something” if it could cost you your job? I will discuss this with my guest Daniel Thompson who recently made national news when he quit his job as a journalist with the Kenosha News in Wisconsin.

Daniel Thompson is an independent journalist based in the Kenosha, Wisconsin, area.

He started in journalism at the Western Nebraska Observer in 2012 and, most notably, ended his career in print journalism in August 2020 at the Kenosha News.

In his 8-year career, Thompson has served as a reporter, editor, publisher and multimedia manager, as well as winning writing and photography awards from the Nebraska Press Association, the Hoosier State Press Association, the Wisconsin Newspaper Association and the Associated Press.

He is currently well known for being unemployed.
