Talk, It’s Not Weak To Speak! – Gordon D. Melville
The Long Bearded Guy ~ Gordon D. Melville
Over the history of time the roles of men & women have been modified in many ways, especially in the last 60 or 70 years. But even with all that positive change, increased awareness & role models, better than 40% of men feel they are considered weak & are embarrassed if they talk about their mental awareness struggles. That’s tragic when coupled with the fact that almost 80% of men polled talk about battling their own mental awareness with symptoms of anxiety, stress or depression. They believe if they talk & share that they are weak somehow! We feel like we should be able to “man up”, “cowboy up”, or just “suck it up” & be strong on our own because anything short of that is just weak! This MUST change like NOW!
The Long Bearded Guy, Gordon D Melville & The King of EQ invites you to join him on his mission to positively change the lives of 10 million men by raising their EQ! Are you willing to stand with him & let our men know it’s ok for them to share how they are feeling, to talk about things without feeling weak? Can you be a safe place without judgement of any kind & lead with love for the men in your life? Including YOU if you are one! Are we able to give grace to those around us?
Bring your journal & a friend as well as ALL the men in your life & let’s have an open, honest & caring dialogue about it being good to talk, because it’s not weak to speak! Let’s get after it!
